Privacy Policy

GAC Film Room is a one-person Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes channel on YouTube (@GACFilmRoom) and this website, gacfilmroom.com. This policy covers the website and GAC Film Room Uploader, the desktop tool used to publish videos to the channel.

YouTube API Services

GAC Film Room Uploader

GAC Film Room Uploader is a private desktop script that runs on the channel owner's own computer. It is not offered to the public, and the only Google account that signs in to it is the owner of the GAC Film Room channel.

What it accesses, through Google sign-in (OAuth 2.0) with the YouTube upload and YouTube account management permissions:

• It uploads video files to the GAC Film Room channel.
• It sets each video's title, description, tags, privacy status, thumbnail, caption files, translated titles and descriptions, and playlist.
• It reads back the uploaded video's ID and processing status so the owner can record the video link.

What it collects and stores: the OAuth access and refresh tokens Google issues, saved in a file on the owner's computer, and the video IDs and links of the channel's own uploads, saved in the owner's project files. It does not collect, read, or store any information about other YouTube users, viewers, commenters, or channels.

Sharing: nothing it accesses is sold, shared with, or disclosed to anyone. Data is sent only to Google, through the YouTube Data API, to carry out the upload.

This website

• No accounts, no sign-in, no forms, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking scripts.
• The site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing on your device.
• The Videos page embeds YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When you play an embedded video, YouTube and Google may collect information and set cookies under the Google Privacy Policy.
• The counter library and video list are built from public data: the channel's own YouTube videos (read with the YouTube Data API) and the channel owner's own battle history on swgoh.gg. Territory War entries never name opponents or guilds.
• The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the service. See Netlify's privacy policy.

Revoking access and deleting data

Any Google account can remove access it has granted to GAC Film Room Uploader at any time from the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revoking access makes the stored tokens stop working immediately.

The stored tokens are deleted from the owner's computer when access is revoked or the tool is retired, and in any case within 30 days of the tool no longer being used. Videos uploaded to the channel stay on YouTube until removed in YouTube Studio, and are governed by YouTube's own policies.

Children

This website and the uploader are not directed at children under 13 and do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date.
